Technion researchers say the future of cancer diagnosis and treatment could be found in a mere few milliliters of blood. The team led by Prof. Arie Admon has discovered a way to test small amounts of blood for cancer. The breakthrough could someday enable personalized treatment for the disease.

EU taps Technion airport security research experts

The European Union (EU) has awarded a group of Technion researchers $4.7 million to improve security for air travelers. The efforts of Prof. Avi Kirschenbaum and his team will focus not on technology, but rather on the development of realistic models for behavior and decision-making during airport emergencies.
