Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned the Technion and the ReWalk device, created by a Technion alumnus, to the UN General Assembly as examples of Israel’s contribution to mankind.

Earlier this year, the Prime Minister visited the Technion. He was deeply impressed by the university and suggested that people invest in it. Technion President Prof. Peretz Lavie presented Netanyahu with a framed Israel Post Souvenir Leaf and special stamp created for the Technion's Cornerstone Centennial.
