Looking Back on a Milestone Year
Israel's 60th anniversary celebration this past year gave us a great opportunity to look back at the integral and steadfast role played by the Technion in the development of technologies and advances that have shaped -- and that continue to shape -- the State of Israel. The past year was no exception, bringing forth a myriad of innovations from the Technion that ranged from a unique collaboration with Yale on homeland security to viral shells as cancer-fighting "nanocontainers." When combined with the celebration of Israel's continued resiliency, such advances -- many of which were highlighted during the ATS mission last May -- will forever make 5768 a year to remember.
